La Joux-Perret G101

La Joux-Perret introduced the G100 movement family around 2021–2022, with the G101 as its true no-date variant — the calendar works are removed entirely rather than simply hidden, eliminating the "phantom" date position when setting the time. La Joux-Perret, owned by the Citizen Group since 2012, has openly acknowledged that the G100 platform's development started from the Miyota 9-Series architecture, yet all components — mainplates, bridges, and the solid tungsten rotor — are manufactured in-house in Switzerland.

The G101 maintains dimensional compatibility with the ETA 2824 footprint, making it straightforward to fit into existing case designs. Relative to the Miyota 9015 it derives inspiration from, the G101 delivers a substantially longer 68-hour power reserve (vs. ~42 hours), KIF anti-shock in place of Miyota's Parashock, an Etachron-style fine-adjustment regulator, and beryllium-copper wheels that work-harden and self-lubricate over time.

Two named finishing grades are offered: Standard (tested in 3 positions, ±12 s/day average) and Soigné (adjusted to 4 positions, ±7 s/day average), with decorative options including Côtes de Genève, blued screws, and polished chamfers. The movement has found a receptive audience among independent British and European brands — notably Farer, anOrdain, Reservoir, and Frédérique Constant — that want Swiss-manufacture credentials and a meaningful power-reserve advantage without dependence on ETA supply.
